The region of Nakano Central Park is classified as rank 1 (safest) by the Tokyo
Metropolitan Government in terms of earthquake vulnerability.

This is based on The Earthquake Area
Vulnerability Assessment of Tokyo vol.6 (2008).

Park is designated as an evacuation site, for its favorable safety conditions.

■ Nakano contains a hospital officially designated as a “Disaster Center Hospital,” for its ability to handle disaster-related emergencies.

■ The location of the project
features adequate spatial conditions
for the installation of generators in
case of power failure.

Nakano Central Park, in coordination with
the local government, is redeveloping
contingency measures to prepare for the
eventuality of a quake or another disaster.
These include:
